As David was growing up, he enjoyed watching his grandfather constantly build things. His grandfather, a preacher and boat builder, taught David not only how to create with his hands but also the value of the relationships that come from sharing that process. David has built on this example throughout his career, finding joy in the connections architecture and building have allowed him to make. Throughout twenty years at McAlpine, David became a partner and worked with clients to create the stunning homes shown below. His projects have been published in the pages of Architectural Digest, Traditional Home, Veranda, and many others. David continues to find passion in building with clients and their families as he creates approachable, refined, and timeless architecture to meet their modern needs.
